Honeymoon

As many of you know, we're usually pretty frugal travellers – generally slumming it in budget hotels (or hostels) so we can afford nice meals or amazing experiences.

Not this time.

We're booked on to a ridiculously posh South African train, and then a safari in the Okavango Delta ... neither of which comes cheap. So any donations to the honeymoon fund would be much appreciated – we'll be thinking of you when we drink that cocktail ... or see that hippo!

Sponsor a Rat

While in Cambodia we went to the APOPO Visitor Center in Siem Reap and met some of their retired HeroRATs – here's Helen with Dora (the Landmine Explorer).

They do amazing work, training rats to sniff out landmines and even detect tuberculosis.

Anything you send our way will be put towards adopting a rat (or two).

Alternatively, feel free to adopt your own.

Lend with Care

Lendwithcare facilitates loans to help out underprivileged entrepreneurs – a small amount for us may be enough to help an Ecuadorean set up a shop, or for a Zambian to buy some livestock.

Helen's been supporting them for a few years now, moving her funds to the next cause as soon as the previous recipients have repaid her.

Anything you send will go into our Lendwithcare fund. However, we really would recommend trying this one out for yourself – just let us know so we can compare notes.
